Wild Rose Farm Ewes & Lambs Out For The 1st Time! |
The sun was so bright yesterday it was almost blinding for the camera ..... we have to allow the sheep to get back into the barn for shade, if needed. It was in the high 50's, so the ewes & lambs were comfortable.
Ths lambs are swimming in a sea of grass, but the small paddock means that they won't get lost. Of course, with all of the bleating, you'd never know that. The ewes are so busy munching that they ignore the lambs for a little while. Then they suddenly become concerned about what happened to "baby" and the ewes start calling their lambs ...... eventually, they all settle down.

Wild Rose Farm Rambouillet Ewe Lamb |
Here's Little Miss Tag # 0360 and
that's not Mom behind her. She was the 1st lamb of the year out of WRF Rambouillet #407. My, how she's grown!
