"U" With Two!

Wild Rose Farm "U" With Twins!
Saturday afternoon, WRF "U" presented us with a set of twins - one ewe lamb & one ram lamb.  You can see that her dark color has faded over the last 2 years.  These lambs are 50/50 Dorset x Rambouillet crosses.  Dam & lambs are doing just fine ......

Rose, Thank you for sharing a visit with me. It was great to see the farm and increasing four legged family, along with the old barn cat! I have the sister kitty, LB (we say elbee) and I think she is 13 years old now. I try every year to get over when the little lambs are born, as it just amazes me each time. What a cheerful spectacle. I did post some pictures of my visit on my facebook page if you want to comment there. I think I have a picture of U, but it maybe another momma. What a busy time it must be for you. I am betting you never vacation in April or May! Thanks again for the little tour and education.

Yes, old "Stripe" is a survivor ... one cloudy eye from a long ago fight and a flop to his tail where he got skinned up years ago. He rules the other 3 barn cats. Smart enough to never cross US Rt 30 when he has acres to roam on this side! :)
